Giclee print of the original Tiger drawing by Jess Tosh. All prints are signed and numbered by the artist.

Tiger is a highly detailed drawing completed in graphite and charcoal, the original drawing took over 40 hours to complete.

"There is something so powerful and majestic about tigers, and I just love the more sensitive and thoughful expression shown here. Tigers have an indrebile courseness to their fur, which I have captured in as much detail as possible, everything from the short smooth hairs around their eyes, to the wild scruff of fur on their necks. Of course I am always drawn to a powerful contrast in my work, creating as much drama as possible. I particularly like how parts of the fur glisten, and how the thick strong whiskers stand out against the deep and rich black background." - Jess Tosh

About the prints:

Giclée is used to describe a fine art digital printing process combining pigment based inks with high quality archival quality paper to achieve prints of superior quality, light-fastness and stability. My Giclée prints are created using an Epson P7000 with Epson pigment inks, which, with the 10 channel print head, is capable of producing an extremely wide tonal range and colour gamut.

My printers use Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308gsm – a white, 100% cotton paper with a smooth surface texture. They meet the highest industry standards regarding density, colour gamut, colour graduation and image sharpness while preserving the special touch and feel of genuine art paper.
