Giclee print of the original drawing "The Oracles" by Jess Tosh. All prints are signed and numbered by the artist.

"The Oracles" is a highly detailed drawing completed in graphite and charcoal, depicting two closed eyes in close proximity with a layer of glitter across each surface of skin. Jess Tosh builds layers of tone and detail using a range of powdered and firm materials.

"After a pretty rough and stormy 2020, I wanted to create a piece of art that held a quiet sense of hope. These two eyes are closed but they are aware, they are dreaming, looking to the future as the oracles that they are." - Jess Tosh

About the prints:

Giclée is used to describe a fine art digital printing process combining pigment based inks with high quality archival quality paper to achieve prints of superior quality, light-fastness and stability. My Giclée prints are created using an Epson P7000 with Epson pigment inks, which, with the 10 channel print head, is capable of producing an extremely wide tonal range and colour gamut.

My printers use Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308gsm – a white, 100% cotton paper with a smooth surface texture. They meet the highest industry standards regarding density, colour gamut, colour graduation and image sharpness while preserving the special touch and feel of genuine art paper.
